Molly Jenks is a RVA-based performing artist, dancer and Pilates/HIIT/Cycle instructor. Molly is a 2021 graduate of Elon University with a BFA in Dance Performance and Choreography and a BA in Journalism. In 2019, Molly had the opportunity to travel to Florence, Italy where she trained in classical and contemporary ballet with Marga Nativa at the Florence Dance Center. Molly later performed in “Transference 2.0” by Indonesian-choreographer Alisa Soleoman at the American Dance Festival. While at Elon, she performed as a contemporary-soloist in Elon’s “Dancing in the Landscape”, a singer-dancer in Elon Cares: Equity Fights Aids, and starred in the music video “Tied Up” produced by Jordan Young. She also performed in works choreographed by Jen Guy Metcalf, Maurice Wallace and Lauren Kearns and recently presented choreography and performed in “To Be Continued”, a collection of dance films, last spring. Currently, when Molly is not auditioning for dance gigs around the world, she teaches group fitness classes in RVA and dance classes at her hometown dance studio.
