Brittany Diaz Judge

Dance Instructor

Brittany started dancing at age three at Jessica Morgan’s School of Dance. After 15 years of classes, competing and attending intensives, she decided to pursue dance in college, at James Madison University. During the course of her education, Brittany had the privilege of working with many professional artists including Sonia Rafferty, Liz Lerman, Greer Reed-Jones, Monica Bill Barnes, Gesel Mason and Vincent Thomas. Brittany was a member of several contemporary dance companies at JMU, and choreographed well-received works for student concerts. Brittany graduated Cum Laude in 2012 with a dual BA in Dance and Communication Studies. She also graduated with a special award from the JMU Dance Faculty: Excellence in Choreography and Performance.

Brittany spent a year performing with the West Virginia Dance Company before relocating back to the Richmond area. She then performed locally and toured as a member of the Starr Foster Dance Project for four years. Brittany is also a trained Pilates and Barre instructor, as well as a professional digital marketing consultant. At the dance studio, you will find Brittany teaching, directing the MKSD Company and working behind-the-scenes as the Studio Coordinator. Brittany is grateful to be part of the lives of so many MKSD students and is excited to be able to share her passion for the arts with a new generation of dancers.
