Mission

Elevé Ballet Company (EBC) provides a pre-professional atmosphere for company dancers to enhance their technical and artistic ballet skills in classes, rehearsals, and performances. All content will be classical work, educating the dancers on the history of ballet while preserving original choreography.

Mission

Elevé Ballet Company (EBC) provides a pre-professional atmosphere for company dancers to enhance their technical and artistic ballet skills in classes, rehearsals, and performances. All content will be classical work, educating the dancers on the history of ballet while preserving original choreography. 

Requirements

Elevé dancers are required to take Company Classes and Rehearsals as assigned. Additionally, EBC dancers take 3 ballet and 2 pointe classes throughout the season.

Preseason Rehearsals

EBC dancers will rehearse in the studio as scheduled during preseason time to learn choreography. 

Full Session Rehearsals

Company members will learn and refine choreography in rehearsals as scheduled. 

2023 – 24 Season: Tuesdays 4:45 – 6:15pm year round; Saturdays as scheduled January – May

Performances

Elevé Ballet Company performance – April 21, 2024 @ Perksinson Center for the Arts

Dancers are invited at the discretion of the Elevé teachers based on the following criteria:

 – Student is in Advanced Level, and en pointe

 – Student demonstrates a year round commitment to ballet

 – Student exhibits outstanding ballet and pointe technique

 – Student exhibits outstanding confidence and performance quality in ballet in class, rehearsal and performance.

 – Student demonstrates willingness to receive and apply corrections

 – Student has expressed interest in advanced training and/or pursuing a career in ballet.

 – Selected dancers have proven dedication to ballet coursework and commitment above other activities. 

Elevé dancers demonstrate excellence in attendance, dress code, and classroom etiquette, and serve as role models for young dancers.
