Kristin Bauer is a dancer, choreographer, and dance teacher native to Richmond, VA. She spent 12 years attending dance classes and performing with Jessica Morgan’s School of Dance, and solidified her love for dance and community during her 4 years dancing with Richmond Ballet’s Minds in Motion. After growing to love dance teaching as an assistant in high school, Kristin immediately began teaching at Marianne Kelley’s School of Dance, and has been doing so now for 7 years. Kristin is an award winning choreographer, receiving a scholarship to Rhee Gold’s Dance Life Conference in Las Vegas, NV for her work, where she enhanced her knowledge in dance teaching methods, choreography skills, and class planning. Kristin has attended 2 virtual summer intensives with the Martha Graham School, where she was introduced to the world of modern dance, and quickly fell in love. Currently, Kristin is in her third season with RADAR Dance Company and her first season with Dogwood Dance Project. Most recently, she received her Level 1 Character Dance Teacher Certification through the online Bolshoi Ballet Academy. She also had the honor of performing in the Richmond Dance Festival in 2025. Kristin is passionate about dance, performance, sharing her knowledge, and growing her personal relationships in the Richmond Dance Community.
