Kristin Bauer is a professional dancer, choreographer, and dance educator based in Richmond, VA. She is currently in her fourth season with RADAR Dance Company and performs in a multitude of showcases each season, both with RADAR and as an independent artist. An award-winning choreographer, Kristin earned a scholarship to Rhee Gold’s Dance Life Conference for her choreographic work. Most recently, she created an interdisciplinary piece in collaboration with a visual artist and an original composer.
Kristin has taught at Marianne Kelley’s School of Dance for seven years, bringing her professional experience into the classroom with an emphasis on musicality, artistry, and technical clarity. Her continued training includes intensives with the Martha Graham School, a Level 1 Character Dance Teacher Certification through the Bolshoi Ballet Academy, and a Level 1 EBAS Teacher Certification.
