Ryan Davis, originally form Norfolk, VA., began dancing recreationally at the age of 14 and found his passion for it while he was a dance student at the Governor’s School for the Arts. After graduating, Ryan attended Virginia Commonwealth University and is currently an accompanist for the dance department. He also accompanies at the Richmond Ballet, University of Richmond, and continues to compose music for artists up and down the east coast as well as accompanying, teaching and performing at the Regional High School Dance Festival and The American College Dance Festival. Starting his professional dance career in 2013 as a guest artist with Virginia Ballet Theater and Todd Rosenlieb Dance (2013/2017/2019), he was then a company member in Starr Foster Dance (2015-2018) and has studied at Bates Dance Festival (2011, 2013, 2017). As well as performing, he is currently a teacher at Marianne Kelley’s School of Dance in Richmond Virginia and has taught master classes all over the city. He has collaborated with Karar Dance Company, Dogwood Dance and Company E in D.C. and is currently a company member with Stavna Ballet. Ryan continues to choreograph and perform all over Virginia.
